RYAN, John James Robert "Bobby" – Age 62, Little Dover and formerly of Mulgrave died suddenly at home on Friday, May 4, 2018. Born in Antigonish he was the son of the late John James and Florence (DeCoste) Ryan. Bobby was a retired Jack of All Trades where the last 4 years were spent as a Head Mechanic for Highfield Stock Farm and they were the best years of his life, finally enjoying his love of horses and working on a farm in Aldersyde, Alberta. Family came first and foremost and he did what he could to make life easier for everyone. Bobby was a member of AA. Surviving are his loving wife, Rebecca Anne "Becky" (Hendsbee) Ryan; daughters, Kerri Rhynold (Darryl); Stacie Lohness (Jody); Angila Wallace (Steven); Amanda Greencorn (Sheldon); Sheena Richard (Robert); Tara Ryan (David); Katie Ryan (Bruno); sons, James Hendsbee (Tabitha); Robert Ryan (Charlene); grandchildren, Charles, Abigail, Natalie, Bailey, Wynter, Jordan, Kandace, Cameron, Cayden, Mathew, Landon, Elizabeth, Marcus, Jaedyn, Teigan, Nova, Haven, Izziah, Autumn, Sierra, Adayah, Ryker. Besides his parents, Bobby was predeceased by three sisters, Marilyn, Mary and Caroline at birth. A special thank you to Rhonda Bennett, Palliative Care Nurse, home support nurses, Thelma and Bessie for the care given during his time at home. Thank you to Dr. Bell for her support since he came home. Thank you to EHS, the volunteers of the Dover Fire Department and the RCMP for the compassion shown to us during this difficult time. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held in the Christ Church Hall, Queensport on Friday, May 11, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Burial will take place at a later date. Memorial donations in Bobby’s memory may be made to Canso Palliative Care. Arrangements are under the care of Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Canso.
