MAC DONALD, Patricia Ann "Patsy" - Age 68 years, of Soapstone Mines, Inverness County. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Patricia Ann "Patsy" Mac Donald. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, November 2, 2018, in the Inverness Consolidated Memorial Hospital, Inverness, Nova Scotia. Born in Truro, on June 26, 1950, she was the second oldest daughter of the late Margaret "Peggy" (Nock) and Samuel Pearo. She is survived by and will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 49 years, Donald; her loving daughters, Wanda (Wayne) Chandler and Melanie (Warren) Hart; her five beautiful grandchildren, Ethan and Evan Chandler; Taylor (Anne), Rhylee and Charlize Hart; siblings, Shirley (Frankie) Chandler, Diane Rouse, Wilma (Ross) Matheson, Margie Ellis, John Robert (Sylvia) Pearo, Sheldon Pearo, Melly (Kennie) Ferguson; In-laws, Linda Pearo, Barry Campbell, Sadie (Johnny) Matthews, Jean (Winston) Nock, Kennie (Christel) Mac Donald. Also left to mourn are many special nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Besides her parents, Patsy was predeceased by her brother, Samuel Pearo; sister, Elaine Campbell; mother and father in-law; Jennie and Donald J. Mac Donald; In-laws, Gordon Rouse, Gary Ellis, Sharon Pearo, Wayne and Glenda Mac Donald. Patsy was a faithful and involved member of the Stewart United Church. She was a lifetime member of the MacLean UCW and a dedicated community volunteer. Over the years, she worked at Dino’s, Texaco, Trailsmen and done housecleaning with her baby sister. She also looked after her special aunt and uncle, Peter and Florrie Ferguson; secretary and business partner of TEREC Ltd., but her most rewarding job in life was looking after her family. She enjoyed family gatherings and her King Cole tea. People will always remember her beautiful smile and what an impact she made on people she met. She will mostly be remembered as being a very kind and loving person who was always thinking of others. Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 6 from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday, November 7, from 2-9 p.m. in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Whycocomagh. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 8 at 2 p.m. in Stewart United Church, Whycocomagh with Rev. Alicia Cox officiating. Burial in Stewartdale Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Central Inverness Palliative Care or the Stewartdale Cemetery. Family flowers only please.
