It is with great sadness that I Doris Marie (Matheson) MacLean and family announce the passing of my beloved husband and father of 62 years. Edmund G. MacLean at the age of 83; passed away peacefully in Strait Richmond Hospital, Evanston on Sunday, October 20, 2019 surrounded by his family after a battle with cancer. He is survived by his six children, Sharon (Michael D.); Charlie; David; Darrell (Lisa); Barbara (Richard McDonald; Karen; brother, Nelson; grandchildren, Dori, Sean, Jenna, Brittany, Jarod, Cameron and Colby; great-grandchildren, Brianna, Harrison, Valerie, Steven and Coulette. He was predeceased by two sons, Bruce and Kevin; his parents, Cassie (MacDonald) and John "Y" MacLean; brothers, William, Daniel, Clarence, Frederick, Alexander and Ralph; sisters, Hughena, Kaye and Annie Marie; son in infancy. There will be a graveside service will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, October 24, 2019 in Orangedale – Gillis Cove Cemetery with Margie MacIntyre, LLWL officiating.
