Belyea, Beatrice "Louise" – OfQueensville, Inverness Co. When you read this I will have passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 in the Palliative Care Unit, St. Martha’s Regional Hospital, Antigonish, but I would like everyone to know that I was truly blessed with the life I lived, with family, the things we have done, places we have been to and the friends we made along the way. These are priceless. I was born in Saint John, NB on August 3, 1941 the fourth of five girls, daughter of the late Francis and Alice (Orr) van Wart. Survived by my loving husband of 57 years, Robert "Bob" Alfred Belyea; sons, Trent (Shelly), Sackville; Jon (Cathy), West Bay Road; daughter, Wendy (Jim MacRae), Port Hawkesbury; sister, Annie Slipp, Central Hampstead, NB; sister-in-law, Donna (Robert) Huggard, Sussex, NB; brother-in-law, Bud (Donna) Belyea, French Village, NB; grandchildren, Courtney, Danielle, Robby, Justice, Kelsey, Emma, Shay-Leigh and A.J. Predeceased by sisters, Jessie Capson, June Capson, Carole Buckley. Educated in Saint John City Schools before working for NB Telephone Company and National Drug Company before becoming a very proud stay at home Mom. After raising her children Louise went back for education. She became a Personnel Care Worker and worked at the Port Hawkesbury Nursing Home until her retirement. Louise enjoyed knitting, gardening, bowling and reading. Louise sang in the choir at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Port Hawkesbury. She enjoyed cooking and playing cards at Evergreen Seniors Club also spending time with her grandchildren. The family would like to thank Dr. Cooper, the Palliative Care Nurses, home health care for the compassion and care you gave to Louise will be never forgotten. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Friday, October 25 in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury. The funeral service will be held 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 26 in Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Port Hawkesbury with Rev. Susan Slater officiating. Burial to follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Port Hawkesbury. Memorial donations may be made in Louise’s memory to Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Port Hawkesbury.
