CASEY, Norma Roberta – Age 83, Canso, passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2019, in the Guysborough Memorial Hospital. She was a daughter of the late Charles and Bessie (McCumber) Harnish. She is survived by her sons, Patrick, Canso; Joe (Frances), David (Traci), both of Ontario; Paul (Helen), Canso; daughter, Betty Ann (Bruce), Canso. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, Michelle, Jolene, Amanda, Mindy Lee, Christina, Tonya, Bryon, Kyle and Brittany; great-grandchildren, Courtney, Jaxson, Shelby, Blaze, Donavin, Lane, Jaxon, Mia, Davidson, Michaella; great great-grandchildren, Alister and Archer; sister, June Pettipas, Dartmouth; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by infant son, Howard; grandsons, Michael Cook and David Casey Jr.; brothers, Eric, Charles, Bernard, Eugene; sister, Ruth; husband, Joseph D. Casey. Norma’s family would like to say thank you to the Doctors and Nurses of Guysborough Memorial Hospital for the great care they gave to our mother. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. on Sunday in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Canso. Cremation will follow the visitation and a funeral mass will take place in the summer of 2020.
