Maxine Elizabeth Feltmate (Hendsbee) - of Hazel Hill age 56 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend Maxine Elizabeth Feltmate (Hendsbee) who passed away quietly on Tuesday, February 11, 2020, after a hard-fought battle with cancer. She passed away at home with family and friends by her side as was her dying wish. She has left to mourn her loving husband, Mike of 35 years; daughter, Melissa (Anthony) Baker; son, Michael (Natasha) Feltmate, and "other" son, Blake Myatt. Her diamonds in her rough, her grandchildren, Trent, Luella & Jude; father, Buss (Joni) Jamieson; sisters, Sherry (Stephen) Cormier, Kim Jamieson; brother, Terry (Pam) Jamieson; siblings, Johnny (Madonna) Hendsbee, Debbie Sangster, Pauline (Oren) Rhynold. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, wanting to mention Darcy & Deanna. Also, the much extended Feltmate, Hendsbee and Jamieson families. She was predeceased by her mother, Eileen (Kenneth) Ehler and parents James (Annie) Hendsbee; sister, Phyllis Armsworthy. Maxine enjoyed doing crafts, sewing and spending time with her friends and family. She also loved going to her favorite home away from home – the camp at Cooey Cough – where she enjoyed beating Mike in the occasional game of crib. Maxine worked at the Canso Fish plant until the arrival of her children; where she spent the next many years being an amazing mother and wife. She was a member of the Star of the Sea Parish.
