I remember my aunt Emelie of her visits to Holland and of the vacation I spent in Inverness in 1975 and 2013 (to revisit my memories of 1975). She spoke her Dutch dialect still very well. I have her recipe of applecrumble, datecake and blueberrymuffins. She was indeed a very strong little lady and very caring. It is a loss for all, but she has reached a high age which alot of us never will experience. I once read the newspaper with her and was amazed how long some couples were married, up to a 70th anniversary. Now she herself almost got that far with Harry. Inverness will not be the same again. Take care you all! Truce

My heartfelt condolences to the entire Neynens family on the passing of Mrs. Neynens! I was blessed to know her from a young age as our mother, Mary McInnis returned to her childhood home on Lake Ainslie each summer. Mrs, Neynens opened her home and her heart to all of us as strong friendships developed with both families that endured for a lifetime! She was a kind, living and generous woman who raised a beautiful family! She will be truly missed! A special note of sympathy to Mr. Neynens for the loss of his lifelong best friend and true pioneer who left the comfort of their homeland emigrating to Canada as so many others had done before! May Mrs. Neynens Rest In Peace! ❤️❤️
