Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this incredibly difficult time. Look not on these past few months but, rather, on the many years you had as a close family filled with love, laughter and support. What I most remember of uncle Edward was that if he was ever angry or hurting you would never know it. I have memories of his love of wood working and gardening but my most vivid memory was of his true love of family. He just always seemed content with living in the now and for the moment. Rest now uncle Edward. You have done your part by raising a great family that will carry on your loving and caring spirit at a time when such is needed most.

I only met Edward a few times, but through Dorothy, I felt as though I knew him, and it was obvious how every much Dorothy and her family adored him.
