Many years ago when I was young, I used to see Sandra and Callista over at Angie Dougalls & Christie ‘s farm on those hot days in August during hay making time.Then on Sundays I would see Alex & Mary and all the kids in Stella Maris Creignish .What a fine family I would think to my self....As years past.....We would always see each other here and there and offer our big hellos and hugs. I wanted to say how very sorry I am to hear of Sandra's passing. Her and I taught at TEC together and I will be forever grateful to her for her support, kindness and ability to help me laugh when sometimes I wanted to cry! We were classroom neighbours for a while and I will miss her smile and her true grace. I am so thankful to have met and worked with her and I feel blessed that she shared some of her wisdom not only about teaching but about family and about life when I first became a Mom. She was a protector of me from my first day through those Tamarac doors and I will be grateful for that forever! Sadly, sometimes it takes losing a life to realize the impact they've made. I'm sorry to say this is true as we have lost touch after I changed schools, but I thought of her often. I only wish I had the chance to tell her thank you! I send you, her family and friends my deepest sympathies. It was a pleasure knowing Sandra; a beautiful soul inside and out!

We have such wonderful memories of spending our summers comparing our Ontario city life with our Creignish cousins.
