It was such a pleasure to go and visit Theresa over these past number of years until covid-19 happened. What an extremely pleasant person who loved to listen to her music and others playing the fiddle and other genres. She had many stories to tell and was always interested in what was happening in the area. Such a talented individual/family! Rest in peace, Theresa!

God Bless Theresa, she was a great violin player. Got to meet with her through the years when I would come home to Margaree,CB. I live in Vancouver,BC. Went to her square dances every summer where ever Theresa & Marie played.God Bless her II am the Grand-daughter of the Bard Malcolm H Gillis who was from Upper Margaree? That is why I love the Scottish Musis so much. God Love you all back in CB

My deepest condolences to the family. I recall taking she and Marie to several An Tulloch Gorm events. Having sat both ladies in the back of my sub-compact, I heard Theresa sy that the car had a very comfortable ride and I blurted out "yes it rides well with a heavy load" I tried several times to reword the statement while only digging myself deeper in the hole I had create. Of all my encounters with Theresa, this is the most vivid and fond memory.

Most times that I visited PH Nursing Home, I'd see Theresa in the big room inside the entrance and she'd often be listening to fiddle music. I'd stop for a short chat and she'd have a twinkle in her eye as long as she had her beautiful music. Soif Shioriadh - Everlasting Peace

I always remember when Theresa and Marie would come to the house for parties my mother had when I was a child. I especially remember when she would come to stay for the night. In the morning she would come into the kitchen and the scent of Noxema would be with her. She was always so kind to me and every time I smell Noxema I think of her. God Bless you Theresa.
