On behalf of my family, I would like to express our condolences on the passing of Kathy. Your so right when you describe her as the ultimate sports Mom. The SAERC Saints High School Football Team experienced first hand her giving of her time, energy and spirit to help ensure success. Kathy with the support and help from John was instrumental in getting the the High School Football Program of the ground along with their son Paul who played for the Team in 2000. Being an outstanding sport family, as was evident in their daughter Carly , their second son John, also played for the Team. Kathy was always there to help out and contribute everything she had for her community and her children, in whatever sport they competed in, be it Track & Field or Football. Kathy was one of a kind and I wish her peace as she rests with Carly. Pyke Family

As a person who sees a lot of this horrible desease in action knows that we didn't lose this sweet woman days ago. She was lost her years ago. I am one of the lucky ones. I didn't have to witness it doing it's worst to one of my oldest friends. I get to remember a beautiful girl, full of life. I for some reason remembered today when we were very young and had a couple of drinks, she was touching us all with a stick and turning us into polka dots. I shed a few tears at this memory. I don't think she turned me back, so I guess I am still a polka dot. I send my condolences to John and his family. Also to all her wonderful brothers and sisters. And also Margie, who at one time, you didn't see one without the other. Rest in Peace Old Friend.
