Palmer, Jane Roberta - Age 82 of Port Hawkesbury, NS, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 19, 2021 in St. Martha's Regional Hospital, Antigonish surrounded by her loving family, after a brief illness. Jane was born in New Glasgow on January 11, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Wilson and Jennie (Fraser) Spencer. Jane was a loving wife to her husband, Andy of 62 years, as well as an amazing mother to their daughters, Valerie, Donna and Lori. Jane and Andy moved to Port Hawkesbury in 1962 and years later owned and managed their own plumbing business. For 40 years Jane was a member of St. Mark's United Church and enjoyed her many years with the choir. Jane leaves behind Andy, Valerie (late Paul), Donna (Ernie) and their son Jamie and Lori (Scott) and their sons Connor and Evan. Besides her parents, Jane was predeceased by her brothers; Stuart, Harold and Jack and loving son in law; Paul Osborne. As per Jane's request, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or funeral service. The family will celebrate Jane's life together at a later date.
