Such a delight to know. Annie Mae was never lost for a quick joke, a helping hand or an offer of friendship and compassion. Loved her baking which she provided for the Hillborough Jam Sessions for many years. She always made extra "just in case". I am devestated that I will never see Annie Mae again. Our visits were a highlight of my trips to Skye Glen. Saucy twinkle in her eye, we would yack about the things you don't necessarily yack about elsewhere. A sharp mind, a dedicated and loving heart, a love for animals, an inspirationally hard worker. A woman in whom there was much to be admired. I'm glad I didn't know last August that I wouldn't see her again. Just as well not to know what's ahead of you sometimes. My sincere and heartfelt condolences to all Annie Mae's family. This is a monumental, life-changing loss. God bless and help you all.
