McLean, Sharon Hazel – Port Hawkesbury, NS. It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Sharon H. McLean of Port Hawkesbury. Born April 13, 1953 she was the daughter of the late Harry and Hazel (Myers) Smith. Sharon worked for many years as an administrative assistant. Her meticulous organizational skills, beautiful penmanship and cheery personality made an office run smoothly. Community minded she spent many hours volunteering at the local food bank. An excellent cook, you never left her house hungry. Sharon loved to go for rides on the Harley with Bernie. She enjoyed a good book, especially while reading outside on her swing. Sharon will be dearly missed by her best friend and husband of 43 years, Bernie. A devoted and loving mother to her four children, Todd (Jennifer), Amber (Chris), Tyler (Noreen) and Troy.
