To the Lawrence family, Art was a kind gentle soul. He acknowledged you anywhere. He would always joke around and call me his girlfriend. I tell him as long as you treat me right you can have that right. We would laugh. To see him smile was pleasure. My dad and art were best friends. If I didn't hear stories about their good times then it meant I was listening. Art was the smooth talker and got them out of many situations. Anyone who got to know him enjoyed his sense of charm. There's not enough ways to say or show we loss someone who could make people laugh and smile. He's in God's hands and if anything I know cracked his first joke in heaven already. My deepest sympathy to all Art's family!! I feel very blessed to of had the chance to work with him at the RK MacDonald Nursing home!! He was a kind & gentle sole!! We shared many laughs & chats especially about horses, my father Raymond & brother Gordie MacKenzie, how enjoyed watching them at the fall fairs!! Residents like him never made my days feel like work!! He will be missed!! My thoughts & paryers are with all his family in this time of sadness!! ❤️

My sincere Condolences go out to Art's entire family. My Wife looked out for Art making sure his taxes were done many years before he went to the RK Guest home, then her Sister Dawn looked after him as a PCW there. My girls loved Papa Art, they were always excited to see him when they were small and later on when we went home on holidays. Art gave my Mother Marie, so many happy years together before she died , and I will always be grateful to him for making her happy. Rest In Peace Art, you were a gentleman and all around fine Man!
