MacMaster, Hugh – Age 68 of Melrose, Massachusetts and formerly of Judique, Inverness County. Passed away suddenly in Newtown, Inverness Co. on Tuesday, July 12, 2022. Born on November 21, 1953 in Inverness; he was a son the late Alexander and Mary Sarah (MacInnis) MacMaster. Hugh is survived by his sister, Joan MacDonald; brothers, John, Ronald Gregory and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his partner, Louise Donovan; siblings, Mary C., Ann Elizabeth, Sarah Theresa, Hector J., Angus A. and Donald Francis. There will be no visitation. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2022 at 11 a.m. at St. Andrew’s Roman Catholic Church, Judique with Father Allan MacMillan officiating. Burial to follow in the parish cemetery.
