AUCOIN, (LeFort) Josephine – Dundee, formerly of Louisdale and Cheticamp, died at home on Saturday August 13, 2011. Born in Cheticamp, on October 16, 1911, she was a daughter of the late Emilien and Luce (Aucoin) LeFort. She will be deeply missed by her children, Joseph Emile (Barb) Boudreau, Penetanguishene Ont; Arthur Boudreau, Cheticamp; Laurette Kohut, Regina; Giselle (Robert) Urquhart, Dundee; Linda (late Bernie) Beaton, Little Judique; Gilles (Janis) Aucoin, Calabogie Ont; 17 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, sister-in-law, Edna Lefort, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, her first husband Jean Henri Boudreau, second husband, Joseph Aucoin, infant son Andre, great-granddaughter, Megan MacLeod, sisters, Mary Louise MacDonald, Cecile Matheson, brothers, Pat, Louis, Willie and Luc Lefort. The family wishes to thank the co-ordinators and workers of the Richmond County Home Support Services for the love and care given to Mom during her last years. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be 4 -9p.m. Wednesday August 17, in the Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury. Mrs. Aucoin will then rest at the Cheticamp Funeral Home, Cheticamp, on Thursday August 18, from 5 – 9p.m. Funeral Service will be 10:30a.m. Friday August 19, from l’Eglise St. Pierre, Cheticamp, with Fr. Peter LeBlanc officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. A time of fellowship will follow the burial, in the Cheticamp Senior Citizens Hall. The family requests no flowers because of allergies. Donations in memory of Josephine may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
