Born on June 20, 1937, Joseph lived a full life defined by his love for family, music, and the simple joys of home. He was devoted to his wife of 64 years, Sadie Jamieson and worked tirelessly to provide a warm and welcoming home for his family.

Joseph is also survived by his sister, Ruby and his brother, David; sisters-in-law, Percena Fougere and Berniece Morris; brothers-in-law, Laughlin (Celeste) Grant and Jimmy (Shirley) Grant; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Guy and Grace (MacKay) Jamieson; brother, Kenneth.

Joseph loved music and could often be heard whistling as he worked or gardened. He took joy in tending his garden, decorating his home at Christmas and bringing laughter to everyone around him. Known for his playful nature and charm, he had a special way of touching hearts.

Above all, Joseph will be remembered as a devoted husband, a loving father and grandfather and a man who lived with heart, humour and quiet strength. Though he has left this world, his love, his laughter and the gentle tune of his whistle will remain with us forever, carried in our hearts and in every cherished memory we hold of him.

The family would like to thank Dr. Gallivan and the Palliative Care Unit of St. Martha's Regional Hospital for the care and comfort you provided to Joseph and his family.
