MacLELLAN, Angus George Augustine “Gussie” – Age 75, Port Hawkesbury. It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Gussie on Sunday, November 30, 2025, at home. Born in Neil’s Harbour, he was the son of the late Pte. DA and Mary Josephine (Fraser) MacLellan, of Long Stretch Road.

Gussie is survived by his son, Angus Jr. MacLellan, at home; daughter, Nicole MacLellan, Inverness; grandchildren, Anthony, Halifax; Lauren and Alivia, Port Hawkesbury; Karlee, Inverness; brother, Murdoch “Dick” (Mary), Winnipeg; sisters, Linda (Allen) Bates, Karen (Vince) Daigle, Mary, all of Long Stretch Road. He was predeceased by brothers, Gary, Robert (Theresa), Fraser (Debbie); sisters, Sheila (Angus), Tina and Mary in infancy.

Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, December 7 in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury. Funeral mass will be 10 a.m. Monday from St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Port Hawkesbury with Father Joby Augustin officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery.
