It’s with profound sadness and heartbreak that we announce the unexpected passing of Isabelle Whetham (Richard) at the very young age of 69 on Saturday, October 25th, 2025 at Guysborough Memorial Hospital.
She was a mom, wife, sister, daughter, grandmother and friend. She was born in Half Island Cove, Nova Scotia.
Survived by her husband, Bruce Whetham; son, Frank Normand (Gail); Daughter, Tania Normand (Jared); Mother, Elsie Richard; Sisters, Valvetta Gale (Wes M) (Seldon Pre-deceased), Darlene Sheppard (Tom Pre-Deceased), Dorothy (Junior); Brother, Wes Richard (Kathy), Lloyd Richard (Fay).
Reunited with her father, Frank Richard; Brother, Clem Richard; her sister Edna (DeeDee) and her little baby brother, Frank Joseph.
She will be sadly missed by grandchildren, close friends, cousins, nieces, nephews in Nova Scotia and Ontario.
