Wilfred David Snow, 86, passed away peacefully at the Seaside Manor, Canso on Saturday, October 11th. Wilfred was born in Canso, June 12th 1939, to the late Robert and Elizabeth (Wood) Snow. He was a resident of Canso and spent his last 21 years at the Seaside Manor.

Along with his parents, he is predeceased by brothers Gerald, James, Robert, Raymond, and sisters, Margaret (Bond), Vadie (Thornhill), Josephine (Richardson), and Jane.  Wilfred is survived by his sisters Alice (Cashin) and Theresa (Boutilier).

The family is grateful for the doctors and nurses of Eastern Memorial Hospital in Canso. A special thank you to all the wonderful staff at Seaside Manor who cared for Wilfred over the 21 years. We find comfort in knowing that Wilfred was so well cared for by the dedicated staff, especially during his final days.

Funeral services for Wilfred have been entrusted to the  Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home in Canso.

A funeral mass will be held Thursday October 16th at 11:00 am at Star of the Sea Church in Canso with Father Johnathan Nnajiofor officiating. Burial to follow in the Parish cemetery.
