MacKAY, Roy Daniel "Danny" - Age 77, West Bay, Inverness Co., passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 27, 2025, in Harbourstone Enhanced Care, Sydney. Born in Arichat on November 21, 1947, he was the son of Ruby (Ross) MacKay and the late James William MacKay.

Danny loved to fish, hunt and trap. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed walking in the woods. Danny always enjoyed having a good time and especially loved to pick on all his sisters whenever he had the chance.

Surviving are his mother, Ruby (Ross) MacKay; daughter, Kim (Peter); sons, James (Jenny) and Dereck (Lioleta); sisters, Glenda, Mary, Ann, Jean (Jerome), Betty, Carol (Drew); brother, Kenneth; grandchildren, Chris, Amy, Dylan, Kelsey and Tyler; great-granddaughters, Lyla and Lily. Besides his father he was predeceased by his brother George.
