The family of the late Wayne Harold Meagher sadly announce his death in the Port Hawkesbury Nursing Home on Thursday, July 31, 2025.

He was beloved especially by his nephews and nieces, to whom he was very pleasant and kind. Wayne had never married and did not have any children of his own.

He is survived by his sisters, Angela Landry (Alfred) and Lillian Meagher both of Mulgrave; brothers, Francis, Leonard (Jeannette), Ottawa; and dozens of nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, Helen and Harold; siblings, Annette, Hughie, Milton, Joe, Stanley, and two brothers in infancy.

A graveside service will be held 3 p.m. on Saturday, August 16, 2025 in St Lawrence Cemetery, Mulgrave with Father Allan MacPhie officiating.
