RICHARD (MUNROE), Leona Elizabeth - Age 95, passed away on Sunday, June 29, 2025, in the Milford Haven Home for Special Care, Guysborough. Formerly of Fox Island, Guysborough Co., she was the daughter of the late George L. and Mary Munroe of Charlos Cove.

She is survived by her children, Hazel (Larry) Martin, Halifax; Shirley (Donnie) MacPherson, Antigonish; Wallace (Paula), Fox Island; Flora Farrell, Canso; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, Bernard; daughter, Janette and adopted daughter, Cindy; brothers, Joseph Munroe, Basil Munroe; sister, Viola Doiron. 

As per mom's wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation and a private service and burial will take place.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Recreation Dept. of the Milford Haven Home for Special Care, Guysborough or to Star of the Sea Parish, Canso. Words of comfort may be forwarded to the family at www.haverstocks.com
