Howard 'Howie' Clayton Greencorn
December 5, 1970 - June 21, 2025
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Howard Greencorn on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at the 75th birthday celebration of his mother in Aulds Cove, NS. Born in Antigonish, NS he was the son of Velma and the late Robert Greencorn. He was raised in Havre Boucher, NS and eventually moved to Edmonton, AB, where he made a loving home with his lifelong partner of 29 years, Julie Gill and their three beautiful children.
Howie was a strong, kind, caring and loving partner, father, son, brother, and friend. He was always happy and loved to joke around with everyone. Wherever he was, you could always hear his laughter echoing through the place.
Howie opened his home to many and gave some a place to call home; there was no shortage of love and laughter in Howie's home. He worked long hours driving truck in the mines but always made time for his beloved family of which his world revolved around.
He will be remembered by his many friends who shared countless hours making memories that will last a lifetime. Howie leaves behind his loving partner, Julie (Gill); daughter, Pateena (Shakeem); sons, Dray and Darius all of AB; sisters, Wilma (Lawrence Bouchie), Jane, Andrea (Christopher Antle) all of NS, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
