Obituary of Constance Ann Noble

NOBLE, Constance Ann “Connie” – Age 78, Canso passed away suddenly but peacefully on Monday, June 2, 2025, in the Eastern Memorial Hospital, Canso. Born in Glace Bay she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Jean (Mitchell) Admond.

Connie worked for many years as the payroll clerk, accountant at the fish plant in Canso where she got to know many people over the years. She also served as President of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Canso Fire Dept for many years.

Connie was an avid reader and enjoyed knitting, quilting, doing puzzles and loved watching sports. Above all Connie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

Surviving are her loving husband, Jack Noble; son, Jimmy (Tasha) Noble; daughter, Mindy Lee (Ian) George; grandchildren, Donavin, Lane, Jaxon, Samantha, and Logan; brothers, Harold (Lisa) Admond, Todd Admond; sister, Patricia (Tom) Rose. She was predeceased by her son, Raymond; sister, Betty Jean.

Special thanks to Dr. Chris Milburn and the staff of Eastern Memorial Hospital and also to EHS and staff. Also a very special thank you to her long-time friends, Gertie Snow and Rosalee Parker.

Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 7 at 2 p.m. in Fourth Hill Cemetery, Canso with Rev. Heather Manuel officiating. A reception will follow in the Canso Fire Hall and all are welcome to attend. Words of comfort may be forwarded to the family at www.haverstocks.com
