





Obituary of Clement T. 'Clem' Munroe
MUNROE, Clement T. “Clem” – Age 73, Havre Boucher, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, March 12, 2025. Born in Inverness, he was the son of the late Randolph and Rita (Keay) Munroe. Clem was a life-long resident of Havre Boucher and a member of St. Paul’s Parish, Havre Boucher. He served for many years on St. Paul’s Cemetery committee. He was employed with Stora/New Page for 40 years until his retirement.
Clem was an avid reader, traveler, and photographer and had a love for all animals. He received his Funeral Director’s License in 1993 and worked with several funeral homes in the area. He spent the last 20 years working with Dennis Haverstock Funeral Homes Ltd as a part-time funeral director, where he made many friends and contacts over the years.
He is survived by his sister, Cheryl Ann (Brian) Rutherford, Safety Harbor, FL; special niece, Joanne Munroe, Wallaceburg, ON; nephews, Frank and James Rutherford, Joseph Munroe; nieces, Melissa Hadley, Ciara and Maria Rutherford, Christine Paupst; sister-in-law, Cathy Munroe, Havre Boucher. He will also be missed by life-long friends, Jim and Carol Shannon.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Donna Marie; brother, Dale; special grandparents, Joseph and Evangeline (Melanson) Keay and special aunt, Hilda MacGillivray.
Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Sunday, March 16 in St. Paul’s Centre, Havre Boucher. Funeral mass will be 11 a.m. Monday from St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church, Havre Boucher with Father Allan MacPhie officiating. Burial will follow in St. Paul’s Parish Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the SPCA. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Dennis Haverstock Funeral, Port Hawkesbury.
