Gary was a dear friend. We attended over 10 NCAA Frozen Four Championships together in various North American cities with our mutual friends Brock Foster and Bill Leeman. We all shared a love of hockey and had many good times and laughs together. Gary was one of the good guys with a great sense of humor and always had a kind thoughtful word for everyone. He was a true gentleman and i will miss him!

I got to know Gary while I spent countless hours at the Port Hawkesbury Civic Centre. He was a great man with an even greater sense of humour and always bought a smile to my face whenever our paths crossed. We have had many conversations, most of them revolved around the sport of hockey and bantering about teams that we supported. Gary will be missed dearly by those who were fortunate to have gotten the chance to know him. May all of Gary's family and friends take comfort in knowing that he made a lasting positive impact in the community

Linda we were so saddened to hear that Gary passed away. Sending our love to you and your sweet family. He was the best. We thoroughly enjoyed Gary’s store visits for the many years he was with Atlantic Lotto. I always got to hear how you and the kids were doing and of course he and Parker would be all over hockey. A lot of Boston/Toronto and Pirate talk. He loved his Bruins. When I think of him the thought that comes is he truly loved and was so proud of you all and always a smile. He is at peace now and you are all so blessed with the wonderful memories he left for you to cherish. Take care dear friend your in my thoughts.
