Sincere sympathies to you Donna, your sisters Lori, Valerie and all the family. Your Dad was a real gentleman and had quite the sense of humor. I remember how he and your mom were so close, where I saw one I saw the other. Please take comfort in knowing they are together and no longer in pain. They will both be missed. My prayer is that you lean on each other and share all those precious memories you hold so dear, they will see you through.

Sincere condolences on your loss. Andy was somewhat of a fixture in Port Hawkesbury forever, whether it was attending to plumbing problems at our homes, attending funerals at St. Joseph's when his wife sang in the all church choir or, in later years, at breakfast at the Evergreen Club. Thinking of you all during this time.

I was so very sorry to hear of your Dad’s passing. When we left Port Hawkesbury, I had wondered so often about your Dad . He was a very special friend of Lorne’s and did so much to help him each time he called for help-your dad would refuse payment for fixing up whatever, so Lorne always put it in a closed envelope so your Dad didn’t know what it was. Andy was a very special, generous, loving, kind friend.
My thoughts are with you all and Valerie ,you are a student that a teacher never forgets.
Love to you all Barb

We became friends in the early 1980's. He came to visit us in Guysborough and enjoyed following the successes of our children. He gave me advice on how not to do plumbing repairs and laughed often. I will long remember Andy with kind thoughts.

Valerie, Donna and Lori. My sincere condolences on your dad’s passing. I loved your dad’s sense of humour and he was always ready for a little joke, especially the one I taught him. He was always giving Valerie a “bouquet “ when she would go home after visiting him. Rest in peace Andy you were truly a wonderful man.
