I was saddening to hear of Pauline’s passing. She taught our oldest son, and she was forever kind. She had a wonderful way of accepting differences among students, and bringing them to success! She will be missed by many!

Laura, Gordon, Frank and Duncan: I was saddened to see your mother’s death this week. We worked together at SAERC for many years, and I always respected your mother for her kindness, generosity of spirit and helpfulness to everyone around her. You were very fortunate to have such a strong guide in your developmental years. I last saw your mother at your dad’s funeral and, despite the circumstances, she was the kind and generous person that I knew. Sandra and I will be away for the weekend and will not be able to attend the service on Saturday. Please accept our sincere condolences and remembrances for a very special person. Pauline was an exceptional person. As a teacher, she left a wonderful legacy of an inspired teacher who was loved by her students and respected by her fellow teachers. Pauline and Gordon were our neighbours for thirty years and Carson and I had some great times together with them. My daughters used to wander over to their garden and sit and eat carrots and other vegetables. Pauline used to laugh at them and always treated them with great kindness. She was a kindhearted soul. We watched them raise their four brilliant children into adults who enjoyed very rewarding careers. Pauline has left a legacy that will not be forgotten. We send our sincere condolences.
