PRAAMSMA, "Susan" Reeta Lillian -75 of Morrisburg formerly of Port Hawkesbury, died peacefully at Winchester Hospital, Morrisburg, Ont., on Friday, March 7, 2008. Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of the late Arthur John Sr. and Alexandra (Jameson) Langley. Beloved wife of the Rev. Peter Praamsma. Loving mother of Susan Jane Chung of Courtney, BC., Heather (Kevin) Crawford of Ottawa, Ian (Debra) Cooper of Nevis, West Indies and stepson Andrew Praamsma of Guelph. Dear grandmother of Lindsay and Neal Chung, Andree, Nicole and Danielle Crawford. Cherished sister of Hazel Thomson of Vancouver, BC. and David (Marion) Langley of Port Hawkesbury, NS. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her first husband, Roland Cooper and their infant children Roland Jr. and David. Brothers Arthur J. Jr., Ellis, W.H.F. “Harry”, Martin “Chief” and sister Mona Tourtellot. Friends will be received at the Parker Funeral Home, 28 Sir James Morris Drive, Morrisburg on Thursday from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Lakeshore Drive United Church, Morrisburg on Friday, March 14, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Allister Rose and Rev. Jean Udall officiating. A reception will follow in Allan Hall. Interment in Southbrook Cemetery, Port Hawkesbury, NS. at a later date. Memorial donations to the Canadian.
