MUNRO, Graham Earl … 55, of Whycocomagh, passed away very peacefully surrounded by the love of his family, Friday, November 02, 2007 in Victoria County Memorial Hospital, Baddeck. Born in Inverness, Graham was a son of George and Gladys (Gillis) Munro, Whycocomagh.
Graham was the owner operator of a trucking company for many years. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Parish, Brook Village. Graham is survived by his loving wife Nelly (VanDenHeuval); daughters Suzanne (Kevin MacLean), Antigonish, Gloria Dawn (Dave MacLean), at home; brothers Calvin (Jean), Gordon (Isabel), Jerry (Elsie), all of Whycocomagh; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 7-9pm Saturday and 2-9pm Sunday in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Whycocomagh. Funeral Mass will be held Monday at 11am at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church with Fr. Bernie MacDonald and Rev. Donna Tourneur officiating. Burial in the Parish Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Victoria County Memorial Hospital Palliative Care Society or St. John the Baptist Parish Cemetery. Although shorter than it should have been, Graham was grateful for a good life leaving all who knew him with precious memories.
