SNYDER, Daisy Glendelia Rosemond - 88. Peas Brook, formerly of Tor Bay died Thursday, December 20, 2007, in Canso Seaside Manor, Canso. Born in Tor Bay, Guysborough Co., she was a daughter of the late Henry and Violet (Gammon) Gammon. Daisy was a homemaker who loved knitting, quilting, crocheting, music and going for drives. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by daughter Ida (Kenneth) Zinck, Southwest Cove; sons, Harold (Nina) Dort, Wyses Corner, Albert (Linda) Snyder, Peas Brook, Edward (Sandra) Snyder, Anthony (Cathy) Snyder, Cooks Brook and Simon Snyder of Guysborough. Sister, Blanche Gammon, Truro; 18 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband of 67 years, William; daughter, Margaret Mikkelson; brothers James, George, and Johnny. Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Friday in St. James Anglican Church, Half Way Cove. Funeral service will be held Saturday, at 2:30 p.m. in St. James Anglican Church with Rev. Tory Byrne officiating. Burial in the Church cemetery at a later date. Family flowers only, please. Memorial donations may be made to Guysborough Memorial Hospital Fund.
