MacPHERSON, Annie Irene - 69, Kewstoke. It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of Annie Irene MacPherson on Wednesday, July 4, 2007. Born February 14, 1938, in Kewstoke, she was a daughter of the late William and Katherine Nock.
Irene was a wonderful wife, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She was so kind to everyone and there was always tea when you arrived at Irene's home. She was a caregiver to all her family, especially her mother, who she lovingly cared for until Katherine's passing in 2002. She was a member of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Whycocomagh. She will be sadly missed by her special niece, whom she lived with, Jackie Nock, Kewstoke; her sisters, Kaye (Bubby) Shaw, Baddeck; Shirley (Allie) Rouse, Big Marsh; Emily (Morrison) MacKay, Dena MacKinnon, Florrie (Peter) Ferguson, all of Whycocomagh; her brothers, Sandy (Tena) Nock, Kewstoke; Billy (Shirley) Nock, Whycocomagh; Winston (Jean) Nock, Baddeck; special nieces and nephews, Doreen (Lee) Norman, Margo (Kevin) Shaw, Daniel, Andrew and Katelyn Norman; brother-in-law, Sammy Pearo, Roseburn; sister-in-law, Mary (Billie) Matheson, River Denys, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Malcolm MacPherson,sister, Peggy Pearo, brother Jackie & uncle Duncan.
Visitation will be held 2-9 p.m. today in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Whycocomagh. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, July 7, in St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Whycocomagh, with Rev. Adam Lees officiating, assisted by Rev. Lloyd Murdock. Burial in Stewartdale Cemetery. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to Victoria County Memorial Hospital Hospice Society or a charity of your choice. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and Palliative Care at the Victoria County Memorial Hospital, and a special thank you to Dr. Genge.
