MacArthur, Isabelle Florence “Isa” – 93, Orangedale, Inverness Co., died Sunday July,26, 2009 at Port Hawkesbury Nursing Home. Born in Kingsville, Inverness Co. on August 29, 1915, she was a daughter of the late Neil and Johanna MacColl. Isabelle was a homemaker and a member of Orangedale United Church. She was also a lifelong member of Orangedale U.C.W. and a member of the Orangedale Railway Association. She is survived by daughters Catherine (Ross) MacLeod, Ogunquit, Me., Mae Matthews, River Denys, Anne (Charles) MacKinnon, Port Hawkesbury; son Donald (Ellen), Woburn, Ma.; 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was predeceased by her husband Lloyd, brother Earl, sister Johanna Davis, son in law Billy Matthews. Visitation will be held 2-9pm Tuesday in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Whycocomagh. Funeral service will be 11am Wednesday in Orangedale United Church with Rev. Janet Blois officiating. Burial in Gillis Cove Cemetery. Memorial donations in memory of Isa may be made to Orangedale United Church or Gillis Cove Cemetery.
