MARCHANT (Noseworthy), Cheryl Elaine — 49, Hemsby, Norfolk, England and formerly of Port Hawkesbury, died at home, in England, Thursday, August 13, 2009. Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of Billy and Mary (MacDonald) Jardine. Cheryl was a long-time employee of Sobeys, Port Hawkesbury and enjoyed walking and spending quality time with family and friends. Cheryl is survived by her husband, Des of Hemsby, England; daughter, Shauna Noseworthy; son, Bryden Noseworthy, both of Port Hawkesbury; sister, Charlene (Charlie) Kehoe, Port Hawkesbury; brothers, Daryl (Shirley), Wes (Mary), both of Creignish; aunts, Charlotte (John) MacLean, Velma MacDonald and Tina MacDonald; uncles, Frank MacDonald and Angus (Catherine) MacDonald. Also surviving are grand-aunt, Ollie Munroe, New Glasgow; nieces and nephews, Ashley, Michelle, Billy, Trevor, Lesley, Devin, Brent. Cheryl is also survived by Des' mother, Pamela; brothers, Malcolm and Shaun and sister, Juanella. Visitation will be 2-9 p.m. Monday in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury, with a vigil service at 2 p.m. Funeral mass will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, in St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Port Hawkesbury with Father Andrew Boyd officiating. Burial in Southbrook Cemetery. Memorial donations in memory of Cheryl may be made to Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of choice.
