MacKENZIE, Roberta May “Rosebud” … 72, Canso, Guysborough Co., died Thursday September, 4, 2008 in Eastern Memorial Hospital, Canso. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Alice (Berrigan) Noble. Rosebud was a member of Canso United Church.
She worked as a Nurse’s Aid at Eastern Memorial Hospital and Canso Seaside Manor. She is survived by her husband Gerald; daughters Debbie (Dave) LeBlanc, Windsor, On., Judy (Stanley) Smith, Canso; sons Jimmy (Pauline), Windsor, On., Gerry (Michelle), Northwest Territories, Phillip (Paula), Little Dover; sisters Heather Naugle, Halifax, Sandra (Shipley) Dixon, Canso; brother Jack (Connie) Noble, Canso; grandchildren Lisa, David, Tanya, Gerald, Zachary, Travis, Shawn, Sheldon, Shane; great-grandchildren Zavier, Brady, Skye, Summer, Memory, Sumara, Kaden. She will also be missed by her beloved pet dog, Dolly. She was predeceased by brothers Bobby, Jimmy.
Visitation will be held 2-4 and 7-9pm Sunday in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Canso. Funeral service will be 11am Monday in Canso United Church with Rev. Heather Manuel officiating. Burial in Fourth Hill Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Memorial donations may be made to Canso United Church. Words of comfort may be forwarded to the family at: www.haverstocks.com
