HUNT, Ann Frances - 59, Port Hawkesbury, originally from Harbour Breton, N.L., passed away Monday, December 31, 2007, in St. Martha's Hospital, Antigonish. She was a daughter of the late Frances (Day) and Jeffrey Pierce (Harbour Breton, N.L.).
She was also predeceased by brother, Wilson Pierce (Yvonne) (Arichat); brother-in-law, Sam Hunt (Brenda) (Harbour Breton, N.L.). She is survived by her husband, George, Port Hawkesbury; daughters and sons, Carolann Wilson (Jim), Canso; Corey Hunt (Dana), Martinique; Cynthia Hunt (Curtis Doucet), Port Hawkesbury; Craig Hunt, (Jennifer Frost), Halifax; grandchildren, Adam, Alexandra, Ethan, Morgan, and Reagan. She also leaves to mourn brother, Walter Pierce (Ann); sisters, Olive Price (Fred); Marjorie Brace (Harold), and families all of Harbour Breton, N.L.; sisters-in-law, Lillian Mullins (Thomas), Evelyn Mullins (Roland), Peggy Hickey (Michael), Harbour Breton, N.L.; Margaret Tapper (Bill) and Annie Grandy (Joseph), Prince Rupert, B.C.; brother-in-law, Allan Hunt (Tammy), Gander, N.L., and families. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who always put her family first. She will be greatly missed by all. A piece of our heart is gone, but you will never be forgotten. We love you Nan.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation Thursday, January 3, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury. Memorial service will be held Friday, January 4, at 11 a.m. in Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Port Hawkesbury, Rev. Susan Best officiating. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to the family with charity to be selected at a later date.
