Hart, Hannah Elizabeth “Liz” -79, Canso, passed away Monday, August 31, 2009 in Eastern Memorial Hospital, Canso, with her loving family at her side. Liz was born in Fox Island, a daughter of the late Frank and Mabel (Rhynold) Dixon. Liz was a homemaker and loved to sew. She was an adherent of St. Paul’s United Church. Liz is survived by her children, Beatrice (Ronnie) Greencorn, Canso; Walter, Canso; Odessa (Artie Snow) Rhynold, Fox Island; grandchildren Amanda, Crystal, Katie, Cody; great-grand daughter Maddie. Also surviving are her siblings Alice Hanlon, Canso; Bill (Cora), Hazel Hill; Babe (Sandra) and Frank, both of Canso; also several neices and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Douglas Hart, brother, Bert, half brothers Colin Hendsbee and Emmett Dixon. Visitation will held 7-9 p.m. Wednesday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Canso. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, in St. Paul’s United Church, Canso with Rev. Sheldon LeGrow officiating. Burial in Fourth Hill Cemetery.
