MacGILLIVRAY, Barbara Gertrude – 59, Glendale, died suddenly on Wednesday, December 3, 2008. Born in River Denys Station, Inverness Co., she was the daughter of the late Angus and Harriet (MacInnis) MacDonald. Barb was a devoted mother, sister, grandmother, and friend. She was a member of St. Mary of the Angels Parish, Glendale. Left to mourn her passing is her son, Angus, at home; daughter, Dawna (Foster Murphy), Inverness; granddaughter Isabella; sister, Mary King (Romeo Savoie), Halifax; and nephews Dale and Ricky King. She was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence; half-brothers Terry and John Hugh; and half-sister Caddie. Funeral mass will be held 2 p.m. Friday in the St. Mary of the Angels Church in Glendale, with Father Allan MacPhie officiating. Burial will follow at a later date in the St. Mary of the Angels Parish Cemetery, Glendale. Donations may be made to the St. Mary of the Angels Cemetery Fund.
