Googoo, Jannelle Klarissa - Age 28, We’koqma’q First Nation passed away peacefully on Friday, December 10, 2021 in Victoria General Hospital, QEII Site, Halifax. Born in Sydney on July 20, 1993 she was a daughter of Roger Googoo (Rita Denny) and Petula (Gould) Googoo. Also surviving are brothers and sisters; Earl Gould, Justine Gould (Reginald Young Jr.), Claudia Googoo (Benjamin Bernard) and Roger Googoo Jr.; maternal grandmother; Beverly Gould; nieces and nephews; Drayden Bernard, Zerek Bernard, Victoria Bernard, Kairee Young, Flint Young and Madalyn Denny-Googoo; godparents; Marcia Gould and Dennis Gould; godchildren; Taylor Googoo, Benjamin (Reid) Googoo and Zerek Bernard; countless aunts, uncles, great aunts, great uncles and cousins. Jannelle was predeceased by paternal grandparents; Ryan B. and Mary Victoria Googoo, maternal grandfather; Peter Gould and niece; Acen Gould.
Jannelle had a love for dogs, a passion for music, she loved to dance "twerk", playing the guitar and piano and she had a beautiful singing voice. She loved doing bead work, loved children and loved her smoke sessions with her friends and family and she love her QUEEN – Snow Tha Product.
Visitation has been cancelled today, Friday, because of the new COVID -19 protcol.
Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, December 18 at 10 a.m. in Blessed St. Kateri Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church with Father Conrad Edwards officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery at a later date. Please note those attending the visitation and funeral mass all Covid 19 protocols will be in affect requiring proof of double vaccination and photo ID for both. Seating is limited in the church.
