FOUGERE, Vincent Raymond “Vince” – 50, Canso died suddenly Wednesday, April, 2, 2008 at home. Born in North Sydney, Cape Breton, Co., he was a son of Gerard and the late Mable (McNeil) Fougere. Vince was raised in Canso and lived there most of his life, where he worked as a fisherman. He is survived by daughters Melissa Dawn, Georgia, U.S.A., Jade, P.E.I.; brothers Edward, Canso, Fred, Dartmouth; sisters Laura (Clayton) Haines, Canso, Mary (Ronnie) Helpard, Sheet Harbour. He was predeceased by brothers Joseph in infancy, Michael and Patrick. Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9pm Tuesday in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Canso. Funeral mass will be 11am Wednesday in Star of the Sea Roman Catholic Church, Canso, with Fr. Daniel Boudreau officiating. Burial in the Parish Cemetery. Family flowers only please.
