DeCOSTE, Frances Edith - 78, Mulgrave, died Tuesday, July 17, 2007, in Milford Haven Home for Special Care, Guysborough. Born in Port Hawkesbury, she was the daughter of the late Edson and Greta (McCully) Martin. Frances was employed by Glenda and Billy Joe McLean and the Mulgrave Machine Shop for many years. She was a member of St. Lawrence Parish, Mulgrave. Frances enjoyed playing bingo, sewing, and most of all country music. Surviving are a daughter, Helen (Jack) Ehler, Fort McMurray, Alta.; grandsons, Wes and Darren; sons, Willie, Riverview Home, Riverton; Terry (Jackie), Mulgrave; granddaughters, Dasha, Olisa and Rhonda; grandsons, Leon and Wilfred; brother, George (Madeline), Brampton, Ont.; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Bert; a daughter in infancy, and brother, Harry. There will be no visitation. Funeral mass will be held 10 a.m. Friday in St. Lawrence Roman Catholic Church with Father Robert McNeil officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to St. Lawrence Church or Milford Haven Home for Special Care. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury.
