Dear Heather and Family Regeant and I have sailed together on a a number of ships with Secunda, going back to the Sable Sea many years ago, and in the last few years on the Trinity Sea and Siem Commander. As Captain on board I have always said that the cook has the most important job on the ship, as morale starts in the galley. Regeant always brought the best out in the crew with not only his great cooking and meals but also with his smile and sense of humour. A few years ago with Regeant as cook I had one of the best Christmas's on a ship that I can remember. He was an outstanding shipmate and was a good friend to all on the ship. I am so sorry for your loss. I will forever remember Regent and the good times at sea that we had together. Sincerely Captain Andrew Powell
