CASEY, Roy Joseph … 78, Little Dover, Guysborough Co., died Friday, March,7, 2008 at home. Born in Little Dover, he was a son of the late William and Bertha (Horne) Casey. Roy worked as a fisherman, a carpenter and retired as a laborer from the Canso Fish Plant. He was a member of St. Agnes Parish, Little Dover. He is survived by daughter Sylvia (Corey) Galloway, Dartmouth; sons Paul (Karen), Dale, both of Little Dover; sister Rose Casey, Little Dover; brother Scott (Florence), Little Dover; grandchildren Brandon and Alexis. He was predeceased by brothers Bill, Reg and Leo, sisters Mona Haines, Gladys Gurney and a sister in infancy. Visitation will be held Saturday from 7-9pm and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9pm in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Canso. Funeral mass will be held Monday at 11am in St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church, with Fr. Daniel Boudreau officiating. Interment in the parish cemetery.
