CARTER, Mary Josephine – 88, formerly of Hadleyville, Guysborough, Co., beloved wife of the late Howard Carter passed away peacefully Friday, May, 2, 2008 in the R. K. MacDonald Nursing Home, Antigonish. Born in St. Francis Harbour, Guys., Co., she was the daughter of the late Augustus and Johanna (Karey) Grady. Mary was a homemaker and a member of St. Francis Parish, St. Francis Harbour. She is survived by daughters Marie (Jim) Delorey, Antigonish, Ann (Brian) Hadley, Vancouver, B.C.; son Austin, Antigonish; grandchildren Robin, Stevin, Michael, Heather, Josh; great grandchildren Keats and Brooke. She was predeceased by sister Anna England, brothers James and Lewis Grady. Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9pm Sunday in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Guysborough. Funeral mass will be 11am Monday in St. Francis Roman Catholic Church with Fr. Robert McNeil officiating. Burial in the Parish Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Milford Haven Home for Special Care, the R. K. MacDonald Nursing Home or St. Francis Cemetery Fund. The family would like to extend a special Thank You to the nurses and staff of Milford Haven Home for Special Care and the R.K.
