Cleary, John Joseph “Jack”- 86, Guysborough passed away peacefully, Tuesday, June 16, 2009 in Milford Haven Home for Special Care, Guysborough surrounded by loved ones. Born in North Riverside, Guysborough Co. he was a son of the late William and Eva ”Hattie” (Cunningham) Cleary. Jack was a labourer and worked as a bridge painter for the Dept of Highways. He is survived by brother, Leo (Elsie) Cleary, Shubenacadie, numerous nieces and nephews, especially nephews Leo Meagher and Gerard Cleary. He will be sadly missed by those who were a special part of his life, Frankie, Brenda, Benjamin, Patsy, Carmen, Donna, John R., Eleanor and family and Marie and family. He was predeceased by sisters, Helen Lohnes and Mary Meagher; brothers, Robert, Tom and Bernie. There will be no visitation, cremation has taken place. Funeral mass will be 3 p.m., Tuesday in St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, Guysborough Intervale, Father Jonathan Nweke officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery. Family flowers only please. Memorial donations in memory of Jack may be made to Milford Haven Home for Special Care, Guysborough Memorial Hospital Auxiliary or St. Patrick’s Cemetery Fund.
