It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Ina Lillian (Brymer) Pyle, on July 3, 2007. Born March 4, 1935, in Manchester, she was a daughter of the late Alexander Brymer and Hazel (Morrow) (Brymer) Hayden.
Ina was a very caring and loving person. She was dedicated to her family and friends and devoted to her grandchildren, whom she treasured. She worked for many years as a nurse at Guysborough Memorial Hospital. She was a dedicated and tireless supporter of Boylston United Church where, among her many activities, she was Clerk of Session and Chairman of Stewards and was a long-time volunteer with the Guysborough Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. She will always be loved and fondly remembered by her husband of 50 years, Gordon Pyle; son, Erne, Fort McMurray; daughter, Holly, Boylston; grandchildren, Erin and Robyn Fulford, Karena, Stephen and Andrea Pyle; brother, Kenneth (Frances) Brymer, Manchester; sisters, Elsie (Harold) Miller, Ottawa, Ont.; Barbara Kelly, Toronto, Ont.; Evelyn Brouillette, Trenton, Ont.; Janet (Bud) Theriault, Gibsons, B.C.; Beverly (Cyril) Power, Port Hawkesbury; Laurel (Larry) Purcell, Cole Harbour; sister-in-law, Ruth Brymer, Los Angeles; 15 nieces and nephews, as well as her numerous grandnieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Charles Brymer; stepfather, John Hayden, and brother-in-law, Robert Brouillette.
Visitation will be in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Guysborough, from 7-9 p.m. today. The funeral will be held in Boylston United Church on Saturday, July 7, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Heather Manuel officiating. Burial in the church cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Boylston United Church. Words of comfort may be forwarded to the family at:
