CAMPBELL, Elaine - 46, of Cameron Road, Inverness Co., died Sunday, January 6, 2008, in Victoria County Memorial Hospital, Baddeck, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Baddeck, she was a daughter of Samuel Pearo, Kewstoke, and the late Margaret (Nock) Pearo. Elaine was a member of Stewart United Church, Whycocomagh and a former member of MacLean UCW. She is survived by her common-law husband, Roderick Bright; daughter, Diane Campbell, Kewstoke; sons, Terry (Erin), MacKinnon's Harbour; Nicholas (Theresa), Whycocomagh; Joshua, Kewstoke; sisters, Shirley (Frank) Chandler, Whycocomagh; Patsy (Donald) MacDonald, Soapstone Mines; Diane (Gordon) Rouse, Big Marsh Road; Wilma (Ross) Matheson, Aberdeen; Margie Ann Ellis, Big Marsh Road; Melody (Kenny) Ferguson, East Skye Glen; brothers, John Robert (Sharon), Big Marsh Road; Samuel "Timmy" (Linda), Kewstoke; Sheldon (Tonya), Sherbrooke; granddaughter, Paige; special grandniece, Josie MacLean, Dawson Creek, B.C.; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brother-in-law, Gary Ellis; nephew, Brian Keith; grandniece, Evie Harris. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. this evening and 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Tuesday in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Whycocomagh. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday in Stewart United Church, Rev. Donna Tourneur officiating. Burial in Stewartdale Cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Victoria County Hospice Society, Canadian Cancer Society, Palliative Care Society or a charity of your choice.
