Pardoe-Battiste, Emma Marie - Bucklaw, Victoria Co., Passed away Saturday April 5, 2008 in St. Martha’s Regional Hospital, Antigonish. Infant daughter of Alexander Pardoe and April Battiste leaving to mourn besides her parents, sisters Samantha and Sonja; brother Ethan; all at home; paternal grandmother Hilda Pardoe, Bucklaw; maternal grandparents Karen Marshall and Peter Battiste Sr., Chapel Island, numerous aunts and uncles. Emma was predeceased by her paternal grandfather Lawrence Pardoe. Visitation will take place at the residence of Karen Marshall 38 Mikmawey Road, Chapel Island after 4pm today Funeral Mass will be held 11am Thursday in Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Barra Head with Fr. Barrett Clare-Johnson officiating. Burial in the Little Narrows Cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations in memory of Emma Marie may be made to the Chapel Island Church Building Fund. Funeral arrangements under the care and direction of Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, St. Peter's.
